Warmth

I took today’s theme quite literally and took a picture of the sun!

There is something magical about the sun, something overwhelming, something that cannot be explained. And that’s what I love about it.

Natural World and Leading Lines

It’s not a perfect shot, but it’s enough for us to see the intricate lines flawlessly carved into the earth by its Creator. Such a wondrous creation!

Something big

This windmill is located in a wind farm in Bangui, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. It may look small in photos, but the windmill is actually 70 metres (230 ft) high, with 41 metres (135 ft) long blades, with a rotor diameter of 82 metres (269 ft) and a wind swept area of 5,281 square metres (56,840 sq ft).

The windmills use wind power to generate electricity, which is used by the people of Ilocos.

In the Philippines, this is called a “kalesa”. It’s a mode of transportation used in the  Philippines back in 18th century. During those times when cellphones are still unimaginable, and high speed cars are yet to be invented, these horse drawn carriages connect people & places together.
